Sena Er

I’m Sena, originally from Turkey, now based in Nijmegen, Netherlands. I hold a Master’s degree in Neuroscience and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering. My academic and professional experiences have sharpened my expertise in deep learning, statistics, managing complex high-dimensional time-series data, project management, and interdisciplinary collaboration.

Under the mentorship of Dr. Burcu A. Urgen, I have led interdisciplinary research projects, utilizing sophisticated statistical analyses and machine learning techniques to decipher intricate neural data.

I am actively seeking opportunities in data science. With a strong background in neuroscience and computer engineering, I am eager to contribute to projects across various sectors that demand innovative thinking and a deep understanding of complex data.

I also take care of two beautiful cats, Alis and Sofi. I enjoy collecting hobbies which include practicing Aikido, drawing, playing board and video games, learning new languages, and both brewing and savoring various teas and coffees.
