Agent Perception

Investigated the congruency effect of cues on biological motion perception through behavioral and EEG studies

About the project

  • Explored how prior knowledge and motion cues impact the temporal dynamics of agent perception in the brain.
  • Analyzed two EEG experiments involving 35 participants, differentiated into groups based on prior knowledge on agents in the experiment.

Personal contributions

  • Preprocessed EEG data using MATLAB (EEGLAB) and implemented decoding strategies with Python (scikit-learn).
  • Analyzed event-related potentials (ERPs) using MATLAB and R.
  • Developed Temporal Representational Similarity Analysis (RSA) scripts in Python for advanced data interpretation.
  • Created visualizations using Python (Plotly, Matplotlib) and R (ggplot).
  • Co-authored manuscripts for publication in peer-reviewed journals and presented findings at multiple conferences including VSS 2022, SfN 2021, and ISBCS 2020.
