About the project
Investigated the congruency effect of cues on biological motion perception through behavioral and EEG studies.
Personal contributions
Behavioral:
- Conducted three behavioral experiments involving 60 participants to study the influence of action, emotion, and gender cues.
- Introduced a Bayesian adaptive psychometric method (QUEST) to optimize threshold estimation and adaptation during the experiments.
- Designed and documented experimental procedures to ensure consistent and high-quality data collection.
- Supervised and trained research assistants in data collection techniques.
EEG:
- Studied the temporal dynamics of action and biological motion perception using EEG data from 20 participants.
- Involved in experimental design, data collection, and training of research assistants.
- Assisted in EEG data preprocessing, analysis, and visualization using Python (MNE, scikit-learn, Matplotlib).
